Особенности сорта: является подвидом улуна «Фэн хуан дань цун» (рус. «одиночные кусты с горы Феникс», кит. 凤凰单丛, пиньинь fènghuáng dāncōng).
Происхождение: гора Удун (кит. 乌岽, пиньин wūdōng), городской округ Чаочжоу (潮州, cháozhōu), провинция Гуандун (广东, guǎngdōng).
Гуандунский красный чай произведённый на базе улуна «Ми лань сян даньцун» («одиночные кусты „аромат медовой орхидеи“», Кит. 蜜兰香单丛 , пиньинь mì lán xiāng dāncóng). Чай внешне крепкий, тугоскрученный, равномерный, цвет коричнево-жёлтый (табачный) или как у чешуи угря. Во влажном виде становится более маслянистым, имеет красные вкрапления. Обладает ярким сочным ароматом медовых тонов, заполняющим всё вокруг. Настой светло-жёлтого оттенка. Приятный вкусовой букет обладает особенной горной нотой и сильным сладким послевкусием. Устойчив к завариванию. После употребления на нёбе и зубах остается аромат. Отличный освежающий и волнующий чай.
