Zhong Guo Hong (Red China): The Treasure of Yunnan
Zhong Guo Hong, also known as Red China or Chinese Red (Chinese: 中国红, pinyin: Zhōngguó hóng) is a unique, highly fermented red tea native to Yunnan Province, China. The history of Zhong Guo Hong began at the famous Fengqing Tea Factory, which introduced the world to the dianhong technique at the beginning of the last century. It was here, more than 20 years ago, that this technique was further developed.

The idea for Zhong Guo Hong arose from the desire to create a new, unique tea that could compete with the best black teas. Fengqing tea masters took the Dianhong tea production technology and refined it. The result was Zhong Guo Hong – a tea with a deep, rich flavor and vibrant aroma.
